The CUR file format is an almost identical image file format for non-animated cursors in Microsoft Windows. The ICO file format is an image file format for icons in Microsoft Windows.ICO files contain one or more small images at multiple sizes and color depths. The header simply consists of the width and height of the image, each as 4 byte unsigned integers. (a = alpha, r = red, g = reen, b = blue) Each colour/alpha component is 1 unsigned byte. It consists of an 8 byte header followed by a,r,g,b per pixel, ordered top to bottom, left to right. The AVS image format is pretty straightforward.
